The immensely sad news has reached 4th Avenue beach that Tom Jack is no longer with us. The love of my life, Tom Jack, passed away peacefully late Friday night. There is no indication as to the cause.
Saturday, March 14, 2015. These little blue flowers are about the size of a quarter. Grow low to the ground and are very happy out there on Shell Creek Road. These guys were my favorite. Clustered up in all sorts of colors. The open flower not as colorful as the bud. These grew about a foot tall with buds the size of a marble. I need to dig out the books. Sunday, March 8, 2015. One yummy treat was the calzone! It is a stuffed pizza enclosed like a pie. When I got home I thought I would make my own. 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage.
Friday, September 20, 2013. We had hoped to be done with construction and settled back in by the first day of school. We are now 2 weeks into a new school year and while most everything is in place, many things are not. For example, our contractor put in our new front door today. However, some crucial pieces were missing from the box containing the storm door, so that continues to sit in the garage.
